Media Moved to Thursday

Our media (library) time has moved to Thursday at 1:30.

School Email now Activated!

My school email is now activated and I check it just as often as my yahoo email. If you would like to email me please use the following email address:

Yes, the school district still has me under my maiden name of Locke, although all the kids know me as my married name of Mrs. Hlavinka (the "H" is silent).

Training for our new reading curriculum starts next week! Can't wait!

Change to supply list

If you have already purchased your child's school supplies based on the previous list that is fine! Do not feel like you need to change, we will make sure that all students have the correct supplies.

However, if you haven't made your purchases yet, please make the following changes:

Instead of these items please supply your student with 4 composition notebooks (100 page).

These will be used by your student so feel free to let them choose a pattern/cover they like. :)

Welcome!

I am currently working hard on setting up the classroom as well as starting lesson plans! Starting off my first year seems like there is an endless "to do" list! Stay tuned for previews as I complete (or almost complete) projects.
